The food here is always really good. Usually get some of the pork pan-fried dumplings and then alternate between the noodle options that they have. My favourite place to eat in Chinatown where I know I will always like the food. Every dish I’ve gotten from here has generally been really good.

Having tried a few dumpling places in Adelaide, Star Dumplings stands out as a cut above. The dumplings are generously sized, with a flavourful, perfectly seasoned filling and come with a nicely balanced dipping sauce. The hand pulled noodles are substantial and perfectly chewy. The service is fast, meals are reasonably priced and ample and the staff friendly and efficient. You can’t go wrong at Star Dumplings.

The dumplings were delicious. The wrappers are not too thick and really close to the north eastern dumplings I grew up with. It was nice having bar seating for parties of one or two to have a cozy space to enjoy a quick meal.
